Riyadh – Mubasher: Ernst & Young (EY) signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Project Management Institute (PMI) chapter in Saudi Arabia (PMI-KSA Chapter) to boost the growth of the project management profession in the Kingdom.

The agreement aims to offer further opportunities for Saudis to become experts in the project management profession, in a bid to support the nationalisation agenda of Saudi Arabia, according to a press release on Wednesday.

EY meanwhile will benefit from PMI-KSA Chapter’s wide network to share its practices and solutions locally and internationally.

General Manager of EY’s Consulting Firm in KSA, Tariq Abu Obaid, said: “With Saudization reaching more than 60% in our KSA offices, we want to ensure that we are giving the decision makers of tomorrow a well-rounded and hands-on experience so they can better serve our nation in the future.”

President of PMI-KSA Chapter, Badr Burshaid, meanwhile said: “Currently we have over 1,800 members and have held nearly 40 webinars to support professionals.”
